Social Media Landscape Review

The Web Strategy Office social stream is undertaking a Social Media Landscape Review. The review aims to capture how social media is used to represent Charles Sturt University and what official accounts exist across the University.

The review will be undertaken during 1 July - 30 September, 2017. During this period we will not be approving any new official CSU social media accounts. If you believe there is a critical timeframe associated with the launch of your planned account you may request an exemption. Exemptions will be made at the discretion of the Social Media Manager, and where appropriate the Senor Manager, Web Strategy Office.

Definitions

For a definition of social media platforms please read the Social Media Platforms definition included in the glossary of the Social Media Use Policy for Staff.

For the purpose of this review an official account is an account or platform that has been established to represent a part of the University by a member of staff or that is supervised by a member of staff.  For example, a Facebook page or group representing a course, school, faculty, office, service or project (this list is not inclusive of all possible examples).

This review excludes accounts that are used only for learning and teaching and are private. If your account is used for learning and teaching but is public, please register it below.
